>>5387037On the floor is a bunch of foodstuffs and beverages you didn’t want. The usual. Unfortunately, you’re not here for the usual, so you gander on over to the grocery section. In response to ignoring common season and reacting nonchalantly, the girl stopped screaming. Not like anyone heard her, if the lack of a reply has indicated by now. Whatever she’s doing, you don’t care.
A minute of searching and you spot the prize. Cutting you off from it however, was the girl, who swung right in your way, hands behind her back.
“Hm? You can’t see me can you?” She says with an smile on her face, apparently believing this to be the case. You shove her aside, but she comes right back in the way.
“That’s not nice you know.” She brandishes the knife, finger on the tip. Clearly she’s trying to threaten you, if only subtly.
“Put that down. You’ll only hurt yourself with it.” You want to get past her, but she keeps blocking you off.
“No way, I need this to defend myself from the savage murderer here. Who do you think the authorities will believe, me, the poor innocent schoolgirl, or you?” Is this supposed to be blackmail? You get a look at her upper arms. Nothing on them. She’s normal, in the loosest definition of it.
“Me. I’m deputized. I have no motive, an alibi, and all evidence will point you. Now beat it already, or I’ll arrest you myself.” Well in truth, you only have the rights to do so when it’s an abnormal, but she doesn’t need to know that. Besides, you have tenure, you don’t need to do anything.
Getting the message, she departs, leaving you alone here. Finally. You open the fridge and take out a carton of eggs. One by one, you crack them open and down them as is. Everything’s fine and clear now that you’ve eaten. Being able to focus again, you survey the scene and find that the apparent victim is now gone. With all the blood around, man should be dead, meaning that he was an abnormal. A shitty one at that, being taken out by a normal girl. Maybe she needs to be looked into.
