Skyfrost is first to charge into the fray, engaging the boss from the left flank. His sword glimmers with that cold, white glow that you’ve become used to seeing in your short time with him. You, on the other hand, approach from directly behind the Penghou spirit, your dagger-axe bathed in searing crimson.
“Autumn-Moon, cast [Song Of Clashing Steel]!”
“Who made you the shot caller? Your new party member voices his annoyance, but complies either way, the clicking of his tongue suppressed by a flood of blazingly fast pipa lines. Around the boss, ethereal images of swords and various other bladed weaponry begin to materialise, flying towards the Penghou with reckless abandon. In the top corner of your screen, you notice the appearance of the [Bleed] status effect. Immediately after, you and Skyfrost land your strikes, consequently applying [Burning] and [Frostbite].
“Next, [Enfeebling Hymn]! Distant-Cloud, [Iron Descent].”
Like a raging stream, Skyfrost gives out command after command, able to even ascertain what spells this Autumn-Moon might have. Most of the skills that he has ordered you to use have applied some form of status effect. The intention of this, you already know from your earlier planning. However…
“Hey, what’re you doing! We’re getting dangerously close to enraging the boss!” Autumn-Moon points out.
Skyfrost pays this no mind, sending his flying swords screeching straight towards the Penghou’s fearsome maw. As it parts the air, streams of blue starlight trail closely behind.

With that, the final status effect is placed.

The black fur on the Penghou’s body begins to lengthen, its form appears to enlarge, and a faint aura can be seen enveloping its entire form. The ensuing roar is loud enough to cause your entire screen to shake. For a moment, the brutal battle happening below ceases, even that between the two Immortal Ascension commanders stops.
Skyfrost simply laughs “Trust me, bro. We got this.”
