There are two groups of main characters
One group is: NotQuesty, his sister NotQuesty, Hilda, Hilbert and Crobat Lady
The other group is: Mei-Ling, Bad Kitty, Roxie, Monica and Tarresya
Right now in the story Mei-Ling and Tarresya have been captured by Team Plasma. Her group have no idea where Team Plasma took them so they are heading towards Opelucid City where Team Plasma is holding a demonstration.
NotQuesty's group have just entered Opelucid City to see the demonstration.
I recommend reading the series a little at a time and eventually catch up.
