During the end of 21st century, technological advancements has allowed for extensive modifications to the human body, becoming a cornerstone of medicine, warfare, and countless aspects of modern life.

The linchpin of biological augmentation is a substance called <span class="mu-s">Nectar</span>, which helps chemical compounds to mesh with the body. While most of the ingredients remain unknown to the public, it is largely made from stem cells and immunosuppressants.

Many pharmaceutical companies have stepped up to fulfill the demand for<span class="mu-s">Nectar</span>, but the search for more potent concoctions requires an ever larger pool of test subjects and land.

South East Asian countries with military Juntas were their primary targets, and many first world nations backed coups in order to install new governments that will extract the benefits of these countries to their own nations.

In the end, Thailand ended up in the grasp of the United States.

Several decades have passed.

Even with a portion of the population now being western immigrants (or mixed race), the radical law changes, and drastic shift in values still has not alleviated preexisting wounds.

The poor infrastructure, lack of support for the elderly and disabled, lack of funding for certain jobs, inhumane prison conditions, laws that obstruct self defense, and many more problems still fester.
