In the dead of night, portals opened up all over the world. Out of them came beings known as Faibles. These Faibles became bonded to humans, known as crossers, who gained the power to control them. The Faibles were incredibly powerful, with various superhuman, magical, or supernatural abilities that made them both feared and revered. They could be anything from mythical creatures to beautiful maidens. Beastly to mundane objects but the all have one goal.To compete in a battle royal, with the winning Faible becoming a god and their crosser receiving a wish.
