Second, you will gain abilities among your Travels, but not all of them will always be with you, but those that are, are called Core Abilities, and you get more Core Abilities the more Worlds you travel upon.

Third, you get Perks for Completing certain Achievements, the harder the achievement the greater the Perk, and these are permanent.
