Welcome back to Crescent Adventures, a quest based on the 90s Sailor Moon universe. Things can go as that universe went or you can derail it with your actions or ignore it completely to just focus on the problems and issues that affect your character!
Previously, our Ruka teamed up with Minako Aino to join the Heiwa no Mori obstacle course competition to get in. It was obvious to Ruka that Minako was up to something; just what the other girl intended to do is still a mystery. She can only assume that Minako is much like herself, someone who can't let supernatural craziness harm other people.
Ruka feels comforted at the idea that a relatively normal girl with awareness of the situation is helping out. If only our character actually knew the truth!
Ruka also runs into the Conductor, who has joined the competition for reasons of his own. Attempts to interrogate him lead to inadvertent consequences. Namely, Minako misinterpreting Ruka's reaction to her flirtation with Tomio. Also, people drank some gastrointestinal distressing cups of 'energy water' which Mizuno Ami likely adulterated. Victims of this include Tomio and Minako....
Evil Mizuno Ami is a scary thing. Ruka hopes the usually mild and gentle girl never becomes her enemy.
The situation gives Ruka an opportunity to sneak away to search for the energy orb the enemy is so fond of. It's a dicey and scary situation, but our character manages to pull it off unharmed! Unfortunately, Luna and Artemis chase after Azul, who grabs the orb from a nest of Black Hands. But this gives Ruka an opportunity to pick the lock at the back gate and open an escape path for everyone.
Also, she discovers the Conductor is an asshole and decides to destroy the orb! There are consequences though. It turns out the announcer and his lady assistant are the enemy! Also, all the park employees are monsters! Jadeite is enraged by the destruction of the orb and Thetis attempts to find the culprit. Luckily, hiding is a skill Ruka is especially skilled at! She swims to a safe hiding place and watches Thetis futilely seek to destroy Ruka.
Then Sailor Moon appears to save the day! Mostly... sort of... well, Sailor Moon turns out to be a great distraction from Ruka to sneak away and find her friends. She advertises that the back gate is open and a struggle to escape begins. The Black Hands are gone, they've released the possessed competitors. Working as a group, the crowd escapes while Sailor V attacks Jadeite to prevent him from killing anyone.
It's a hard slog but everyone escapes from the strange pocket dimension, they even get to see the famous Sailors! Like a swooning maiden, Ruka is carried to safety in the arms of the famous Sailor V!
And then promptly gets dropped because Sailor V accidentally revealed she knew Ruka's name...
