Choose three of the skills below. Your background depends on your choices. No matter what, you will have an average skill in melee and ranged combat and a vague idea of what common monsters can do from folklore. This quest will run until you die or choose to retire.
>Combatant: You are a talented warrior and can handle most weapons with a skill that matches most monsters' lethality.
>Archer: You are a keen marksman with an almost perfect accuracy at close ranges. It doesn't drop much at a distance.
>Survivalist: You can track and forage in the wilderness with ease and can reliably sneak up on most monsters.
>Brute: You are a large and menacing man with a lot of scars. Most people won't want to trouble you and you're strong as an ox.
>High-blood: You are a minor noble. Most peasants will defer to you and the nobility will grant you a token of respect.
>Charming: You are a naturally likeable guy and can get along with almost anybody, which helps with investigations and negotiations.
>Beast Lore: You are educated on the wild and know everything about animals, most things about common monsters, and some things about rare monsters.
>Witch Lore: You are educated on sorcery and can tell what kind of magic a witch knows, predict their spells, and know what countermeasures to take.
