As the title says, this is a quest where you take the form of a monster. Mechanics will be partially lifted from a shitty LN series, and introduced as we go. Unsure if this'll last any longer than one thread, really depends on Anon interest and how things develop. First off, though, lets decide just what our protagonist is like!
You are a fledgling monster, blessed with a form of sentience, still at the weakest echelons of the level spectrum. The type of thing your average Level 1 Fighter or even a Level 1 Mage who still has MP can easily dispatch. That being said, such monsters take a surprising amount of shapes and sizes.
Pick a general 'type' of monster, and I will give you five options from that type. Votes will be tallied up in an hour.
> Beasts. Generally physically stronger, and with some of the best aptitudes for stealth.
> Humanoid. Weak and less durable, but with graspers, the potential for tool usage, and other such things.
> Magical. Tend to have odd biology and special abilities, but also have to rely on those abilities early.
> Undead. Incredibly durable, but with large weaknesses to any sort of Divine effect that isn't unholy.
