Daniel turned away from the camera, all part of the act to play up the segment "Sure do, this year for hero day we'll be focusing on the past and the city will be paying their respects to the heroes who fell in defense of Star Valley and her people."

An old clip, from back when video formats were only in HD, began to play and both anchors grew silent out of respect. It showed Astral fist fighting a trio of heavily chromed super villains, and it looked as if Astral Fist was not entirely winning. The video paused as Astral Fist dodged the laser fire from one of the villains. "Agreed to be the greatest hero of their generation, today will mark the fiftieth anniversary since their untimely death in the Rat King Catastrophe of 2027."
