You slowly open your eyes to find yourself in a dimly-lit room with no windows, the only source of light filtering in through a small crack in the wall. You can't recall how you got there or where "there" even is. The apartment is eerily quiet, except for the sound of your own breathing.

As you sit up and glance around the room, you realize that it's completely empty, save for a few discarded items scattered around the floor. A stained mattress lies in one corner, an overturned lamp in another, and a rusted metal canister sits in the center of the room. You can't shake the feeling that something is off, but you can't put your finger on what exactly that might be.

You try the door, but it's locked, and you quickly realize that you're trapped in this room. Panic begins to set in as you realize that you have no idea how to get out or where to go. As you press your ear against the door, you can hear what sounds like a faint humming noise coming from outside. You're alone, with no memories, in an unfamiliar place.
