Most pregnancies ended in miscarriage when the Nine Tails ravaged the village. You were born extremely preterm. Your mother only at the tail end of her second term. Your chances of survival for so very thin. Yet you survived. The only worry left was if you could have a full life without any complications.

There seemed to be one. Your eyes. It seems that during the Nine Tails' rampage the negative energies released which caused so many such stress affected you as well. Your eyes bore the sharingan from birth. And they were permanently activated. Your eyes seemed to not have a regular state. And though some would consider this a blessing, it did not come without its costs.

If your eyes stayed open too long you could exhaust all of your chakra quite quickly. You had to keep your eyes closed at almost all times until you learned how to not feed all of your chakra to your hungry eyes. It helped that you could remember your surroundings with only a glance. So you weren't really blinded. The other kids did think you weird for keeping your eyes shut all the time. you think it added some mystery to your character.

Now, after mastering your eyes at the age of three and blasting through the pitifully easy academy at the age of four you are ready to bring glory to your name and clan!
