Nestled in the woods near a small town called Sufeer is a place called Lost Garden. It is a dungeon, a genius loci, a magical self aware place capable of growing and transforming over time. Lost Garden is empowered by three core principles.

The Journey: As guests and invaders pass through the chambers of Lost Garden, the dungeon gains mana.

The Treasure: Lost Garden is littered with treasures and resources, everything removed from the dungeon grants it mana.

The Challenge: Lost Garden is rife with Challenges, some of might or skill, others of patience, poise and wisdom. Completion of these challenges grants the dungeon mana.

Lost Garden possesses two ‘floors’, discrete sections with their own theme, although both fall firmly into a forest theme. The first floor is a group of forest glades, surrounded by a spatially twisted fog choked woods. These forest glades are guarded by squirrels and wolves, and home to four challenges that must be overcome to move on. After the four challenges the way forward is blocked by the Rose Garden, home to Artemis, an animated stone archer, and Mossy, a hulking golem who normally slumbers as a simple water fountain.

Those who pass the first floor ascend into the Tree Tops, set high above the forest floor among a series of truly massive tree trunks connected by rope bridges. The Tree Tops are guarded by a, squirrels, owls, dryads and bees, and takes an oddly civilized bent. It features a tavern and museum both, nestled between a massive beehive, and flower based trials.

At this very moment a young swordsman, seeking challenging battles, has been struggling through the dungeon. He has bested the challenges of the first floor, and is currently walking, still dripping from a few falls into the pond on the first floor, toward the Blue Flagon Tavern on the second floor.
