>>5651049You closed your uncles book and put it away for now as you made your way to your old friend Florin. You walked from your cottage into town and visit the bakery that Florin works in.
You walked past the counter all the way into the bakery proper. You find Florin needing dough and preparing what seems to be a dozen bread loafs. Upon entering Floring notices you and drops his work to walk over to you. He is a big man and he gives you a big hug, lifting you of the ground. You explain to your friend who is almost double your hight that you will leave on a adventure. He gives you a half sad look but you can also detect happiness in his meaner.
>"I know you would leave eventually. Recently you always spoke about the greater world out there. You could honestly never shut up about it, got a bit annoying to be honest."He chuckled a bit, then he turned to get something from a adjacent room. He handed you a loaf of bread and a small flute.
>"I know you won't really need this, but i hope you won't feel all alone without it. This means goodbye i guess. For now at least..." The flute is nothing special, it looks roughly carved out of wood. The holes are all not perfectly carved in and you can tell by just the was it looks that the sounds will be off. But you don't mind. Its a memento of your friend after all
(If you don't do anything else in the bakery you will leave for the tavern)
