This is not a traditional quest. Instead of giving action suggestions at the end of each post, let's take a step back and try more general narrative suggestions. Backstory, lore, themes, plot, and characters that you'd like to see. All starting from a core idea to explore: an unestablished dragoness heading out into the world.
What might be the story of a dragon whose age isn't counted in centuries? Whose hoard is an oversized magpie's nest of anything shiny that could be pilfered from the camps of bandits and travellers? Whose grasp of language and lore comes from spying on bards or slinking around towns polymorphed as a cat? One who's never killed a person and would be intimidated by a modest group of adventurers or one of the many animals larger and scarier than itself?
Maybe she spends time polymorphed as a human, confused for a beautiful wildwoman by the local villagers? Maybe she was raised by or befriended by humans? Whatever intrigues the most. All of this is just to try and communicate the kind of tone I'd like to go for. Which leads to the real problem:
What should be the story? What motivates her to set out, and what will happen along the way to engage the reader?
>raised on heroic stories of her deceased human parent, she decides to put her powers to use in defending the weaker races, dragging her older half-sister along with her to ???
>by circumstance (good or ill?), she is forced to abandon her cave, and discovers the world of man is far more interesting than she ever imagined
>alone in an abandoned part of humanity's last refuge from a corrupted monsterkind, she is discovered by two? children who she takes a liking to and gradually adopts their mannerisms (and them) to eventually join them in their defense of their dying realm
>something inspired by what you've read? Maybe Dragon Mango, TwoKinds, Dragonet, Ironheart-Rune, an archived quest, perhaps?
>???
>(You)r suggestion here
>Why this thread?
I was heavily inspired by "Not Your Saint George" on AO3 around the same time this fag >>>/tg/88658202 invited me to shit up your board.
