The Irish Protestants in Northern Ireland have risen up during these troubled times. They are loyal to the Union of Britian and wish to restore the nation as to safeguard Northern Ireland's position in the kingdom. They fear prolonged chaos in the nation will tempt the Republic of Ireland to invade and reclaim the north. All the loyalists to the crown have gathered in Londonderry, where most of the military force is stationed aswell. Where possible fragments of the military force have moved to the border with the republic and strategic settlements close to Londonderry to strengthen the defense of the Unionists.
>Force Compostions Bonuses:
- Minelaying Equipment. (to defend our border and controlled cities ofcourse)
- AA Batteries. (we had enough experience with being car bombed)

Mechanics:
-Movement: a group of soldiers may march only 20 km per turn. If two or more groupd march to the same objective, a number of d100s equal to the number of groupd will be rolled to see who arrives first, with the nearest group having an advantage.

-NPC factions: Depending on the player, NPC groups may be hostile, demand their subjugation, be willing to cooperate or may be co-opted by the players.

Interacting with the NPC factions is gonna be interesting, I'll probably have an easier time with them compared to my Welsh counterpart.

Troops are composed of soldiers and officers, make sure that the rate of soldiers per officers does not rise above 10-1. Troops are organized into stacks, how many troops are into a stack are up to you. Once two enemy stacks meet they will fight each other, unless something intervenes. If their digits in their biggest order in equal(they have an ~= number of troops), they will both roll 1d100. If one of them has a bigger digit in the biggest order(Ex: 320 Celts Vs. 290 Loyalists), the faction with the larger force will roll 1+the difference between their biggest order d100s(In the given example, the Celtic faction would roll 2d100(1+(3-2)) against 1d100 from the Loyalist faction)

>Commands:
Commands are simple orders given by the player to their stacks of troops, they can be anything as long as they are not too specific. You may command a larger stack to move somewhere, divide, and then give commands to each smaller stack.

>Battles:
Skirmishes will be decided on a roll. Anything larger, such as the assault over a city or two giant forces meeting, will begin its own miniturn in which the player(s) will act on a zoomed in map.

>Movement:
Stacks may move 20km in any directions by default. If two stacks from different factions are moving to the same location, both will roll with modifiers related to their situation. Commands such as “Force march”, “Commandeer vehicle”, “Slow advance”, etc. will change the amount of km you could move and the modifiers applied.

Not really, but I advise you to think of any command as a dice roll even of that won't always be the case. Here's an example:

I also ask to be lenient with conditionals, I would like not to be reading code.

Since my faction has 51k soldiers and 5.1k officers, I would like to make default stacks of "1k" consisting of 1000 soldiers and 100 officers.
Then I plan to do the following starting from my faction's HQ, going clockwise in commands:

>Station 10k in Londonderry and surroundings (stack LD1).
>Station 5k in Limavady and surroundings (stack LV1).
>Station 5k in Dungiven and surroundings (stack DG1).

>Move 1k for each arrow north of Maghera to sieze land and connect our territory with the Union Front (stack NM1, NM2, NM3, NM4, NM5, from north to south, 5k total).

>Move 5k to Maghera in an attempt to sieze it (stack MH1).

>Move 2k each to the three crossings through the mountainrange and fortify (stack MR1, MR2, MR3, from west to east, 6k total).

>Move 15k to seize strabane, and once there split off 5 stacks of 1k to seize surrounding points of interests marked on the map (stack SB1 (10k), SBc, SBg, SBs, SBc, SBt (1k each)).
The points of interest being from left to right: Clady, Glebe , Sion Mills, Victoria Bridge, Strabane Trasmitting Station. All being small settlements except the last one, which is an antenne tower which could hold strategic interest for our faction.

>Contact the Union Front faction for a diplomatic move.
I want to inform them about my faction's planned movement, and request them to make advances south where my faction has no controlled territory (e.g. Armagh, Newry). That way we both can use our troops most efficiently in seizing territory, before we take on the Irish Uprising's HQ together.
