Sydney is a no man's city! Everyone is out for themselves! The virus spreads within seconds of contact! The people become monsters and start viciously raping everyone to spread the virus! They retain a great degree of their cognition but the virus transforms them, making them operate only in terms of their most horrible impulses, doing unspeakable things that would otherwise be repressed and so they are incredibly dangerous - they know how to use guns and how to operate vehicles!
The government falls and it is everyone for themselves!
The disease spreads throughout the world like wildfire. Within hours, flights from Sydney are cancelled, but terminals all over the world are infected, and the infected themselves fly planes full of infected in disrespect of international laws.
The entire world is plunged into chaos!
You, the sentient fungus virus symbio Cordiceps Sapiens wallow in seeing the misery of the human race, the next step in evolution. Your new improved humans need next to no sleep, very little food and water, and can survive being hacked to pieces!
Still, there are a few places in the world that eluded your immediate rampage. Plenty of military bases, disease control centers, prisons, farms, research stations, islands, ships and even a few isolated cities in the mountains without airfields haven't been touched by your infection.
You can't claim total victory while a single non infected human remains!
