>>5743532"There's too much blood! Auto-gauze wasn't built for this!"
"Go to manual then!"
Many voices are shouting, creating a swirl of frustration, stress, and confusion. Eventually they're shouting so loud and saying so much that it all becomes a blur. As you stop hearing, you start seeing. Amane Hongo's body as bled so much, her prosthetics are sparking. Things get dire as her organs, natural and synthetic start to fail.
"Her lungs are losing power!"
"All her organs are failing, what should we do?!"
"Her heart is starting to fail!"
Multiple voices are overlapping. Fear engulfs you entirely. For a brief moment you feel an intense crushing feeling, then a powerful gaze burns into you from somewhere. Like her father was looking down at you himself.
"She's dead.."
"No!" Your eyes snap open. Slowly pulling yourself upright, you find your chest rising and falling to the beat of your ragged breaths as that nightmare clings to your mind. For a few moments you simply stare into an alien darkness, you remain on alert as you scan your immediate environment. Finally, you remember where you are, and what had happened.
Last night, you'd fought hard and lost almost as hard to the Other Rider. The Other, renamed as Kamen Rider Delta in your mind, also turned out to be your brother, whom was remodeled by your nemesis, the machine lifeform leader Ark-Zero. When things looked dark, your other 'brother' had your back. Kamen Rider Beta appeared, pulled you back into fighting shape, and together you barely beat Delta back.
After that, you made a desperate effort to save the life of Amane Hongo. Using your nanites, you were able to repair her cyberparts enough to bring them back online. To do so though, you needed physical contact on said parts, forcing you to relive a horrifying moment. For several minutes you had gingerly drive your arms into her body, and you gently did what was needed; all while making an uncomfortable face. Unfortunately, your medical supplies are limited here. First-aid does not cover surgery, which is exactly what she needs. Even so, your group managed to stop any further damage.
Right now, your previous party, along with Amane and Beta, are rooming together in a hastily repaired building. Which you and Beta quickly constructed to house Amane. Amane's labored breathing draws your attention to her prone form on a worn-out futon. Henry had torn out a health monitor from his kit and fixed it to her wrist, of which was currently beeping in a stable pattern.
