Your homeland has been ravaged by a massive horde of undead lead by the archlich Xenos who is bent on world domination. You escaped with aboard a ship and crossed to the continent of Zyram, which is home to many fantastical races and creatures.

> Merchant Lord Rufus: you had a small fleet of three galleys full of supplies you were intending to go trade when this whole mess started, you escaped with them full of goods, your large crew of civilians is aboard the ships.
