<span class="mu-i"><span class="mu-s">IN A WORLD</span> ruled by ruthless corporations and full of decay and loneliness, where people turn to violence for entertainment, <span class="mu-s">ONE MAN</span> rose above the system to become the <span class="mu-s">NUMBER ONE ASSASSIN of the legendary the United Assassins Association</span> but then... He vanished. He's been a legend on his own since then, but his story has since faded into the underground...</span>

Now we all know gamers these days don't have much patience, so here's the tl;dr on the story so far:
You are <span class="mu-s">Lynn Lionhunt</span>, a 30-ish year old unemployed womanchild, and you've made a <span class="mu-s">terrible mistake.</span>
After a night of borderline alcohol poisoning you murdered a blinged up hobo by accident, who turned out to be the 10th ranked hitman.
And so you are now involved with the UAA, as one of their professional assassins.
The "handler" they gave you is a mysterious guy you only know as "Scott" since you are too afraid to ask his name.
You must keep rising up the ranks to become number 1.
You already killed #9, Candy Caine, at Destroy Mall after a bloody battle.
You also met Neil, an UAA producer who kinda looks like that No More Hero guy but is also just a fucking weirdo.
After sorting stuff in the city, you head to the desert to find #8, "36 Chambers".
You met some weirdos called Sand Eaters who just kill everything.
And now you are taking a call from "Scott" in the middle of a battlefield.
So now we can resume the panicked running!
"LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW, SORRY- <span class="mu-s">JESUS!</span>" You shout as an explosion goes off dangerously close to you.
The guy at the other side of the call does not seem to understand the gravity of the situation. "Heh, hey, sorry I'm watching the finale of The S*pranos. Really good show you sh-"
<span class="mu-s">"IT'S A FUCKING WARZONE HERE GET TO THE POINT-!"</span>
"Woah, watch that attitude, lady~"
Before you even consider responding, a barrage of bullets zoom by in front of you, barely missing you... In SLOW MOTION.
"The next assassin is known as "36 Chambers", his origins and his past are a mystery to everyone, but everybody knows him as the deadliest hands in the west... They also known him as-"
Another missile hits nearby, and you fall back, your phone slipping off your hands... You try to stand back up... And notice the screaming and the shooting has stopped.
You stand close to the town... A chill runs through your back...
>Head into town. Even though it gives you a bad feeling. You can fight your way out.
>Ask Scott what the fuck is going on, he may know more. Or not. Probably.
>Look around first to make sure it is truly safe to move. Sand Eaters may be here.
