You're a slave trader, a merchant of maidens, and this is your tale towards profit and power in the 42nd Millenium.
Gameplay will progress in turns wherein each, you purchase an amount of slaves and then you sell an amount of slaves at the voidship's auction house, trying to make a profit from the markup. It's up to you and your business sense to determine which purchases will pay off the most, when it's the best time to sell, and which slaves to keep for yourself; all while managing your position and dealing with internal competition in your criminal gang.
You're a low-ranked member of the White Masks, a massive pirate crew on board the voidship of the Boney Boar, which is mainly dedicated to slave trade across the stars. The pirate crew operates more like a federation of independent merchants, thugs and low-lives than the typical band of pirates - meaning that you have a lot of freedom, but you just have to follow some rules. Wearing a mask is compulsory while on 'official' business, as your clientele mostly consisting of nobles and their intermediaries will wear them too, as to allow them to mix between everyone else on board and give them more anonymity during their business and purchases.
And more importantly, all slave sales must be done through the auction house. It's how The Boss gets his cut.
Inspired by the Noble Bloodline Quest, this is going to be another experimental Quest, which I'll run for about 10 turns at which point I'll notify if I continue it or not.
