they escorted you upstairs (albeit blindfolded.) When you were unblindfolded you appeared to be in some kind of office, the man from before was sitting at his desk with a few more exoskeleton Stalkers standing guard next to him.
"Listen Stalker, we got off on well let's say... less than amicable terms, but I think I kind of understand you now. I won't forgive you for trying and steal our weapon. But I think you can be use to our organization, by the way, my name is Lukash. And I am the leader of this wonderful ragtag bunch! I haven't even asked your name, how rude of me!"

You were escorted out again by the exoskeleton guards and when you get out of the main HQ a Freedom soldier sees you and directs you to the ambush location.
A few other Freedom grunts were there waiting in the bushes, past that you saw a few Duty soldiers, they mostly seemed to be newbies, with a few veterans in good armor and one in a exoskeleton. The commander of the Freedom squad whispered.
"Alright men, shoulder your rifles and get ready to fire on my mark. 3...2...1. FIRE!"
