They make a big pile and get over our walls! A bunch of zombies manage to reach our ramparts from where the archers are shooting. From there, they jump into the city.
There is much chaos as a bunch of zombies manage to infect people inside town. Thousands of people die and turn into zombies!
Then in the horizon you see a bunch of necromancers. They are wearing big ceremonial masks. Their loud chanting can be heard from the city. The zombies stop what they are doing and return to where they came from, their numbers bolstered severalfold.

These concerns are brought by the council:
> Spy from Dark Elves!A dark elven spy is discovered within Aland, raising concerns about potential sabotage or an impending attack. The captured spy denies everything and says it all is just a big mistake.
"He was communicating with the dark elves using a magic scroll! It looks like a regular scroll but when you write on it with blood the letters disappear! He says it is a heirloom from his adventuring grandfather but he is obviously a spy of the dark elves." - Roderick Ironhands, Local Priest.
> Epidemic Outbreak!A contagious disease sweeps through the population, threatening both the workforce and the standing army.
"All those undead must have poisoned the water..." - Celina Edenbrooks, Local Peasant.
> Necromancer Neighbours! It was a close call! If the necromancers did not call back their forces our city could be in ruins right now! Why did they even call back their zombies? I bet they just wanted to increase the size of their army in preparation for the real attack...
"We must prepare ourselves, they will be back for sure.", Ruga Prazad, Spearman.

You can recruit 250 new troops this year, select the type (cavalry maximum is 20 per year). You can support around 2500 troops.
You can recruit twice as much spearman as other troops (so a maximum of 500 spearman per year), but they are the weakest troops.
