To the north there is an enclave of dwarves called Rukar. They are engaged in a long war with the frost giants that inhabit this region. We managed to stay out of the conflict thus far.
To the south there is a deep forested valley where humans, orcs and elves battle for supremacy. No side has managed to root out the others.
To the east there is the tower of the mage Anksu. He is working on some weird magical theories. His apprentices travel around gathering stuff for him and sometimes engage in trade. The mountains spread farther east and we don't know what lies there.
To the west the is a big swamp and beyond the swamp the high seas. You haven't explored the swamp at all, many stories about undead kept your people away from that place.
