“Manipulations, you can pick out lies, and you work with mages daily. Plus I do keep getting you to talk about yourself.”
“I guess you were paying attention to what I was saying. God I fell for my own trick. Are you a coven experiment or something to learn this special skill?”
“It's a cantrip with flexible use and I just follow your advice.”
“It's just nooo. If it can be that easily learned what stops another mage from just making you hand over my memories also what kind of cantrip does that?”
“Encode Thoughts.”
“What is that? That is not important. I can't let my best work get stolen from some random mage that looks at your general location and takes my memories.”
“It is a bit more complex and unless they have the same cantrip they can’t just take the memories.”
“Sure like you can stop a mage from just firebolting you and making you give them it.” Scoffs out Betty before staring at William again.
“I am hardier than usual and can fight a bit.”

“It is not fractured truths, it is the whole truth.” States William giving another check behind himself seeing no one.
“But how?”
“Listen, how about this? I can prove I can fight, just give me information on the gang’s level, location, numbers, and I can bring a friend to help clear the riff raff from your family's bakery.”
“You are way too confident but not a single thing you said was a lie. So you're either delusional or actually competent.”
“It could be both.”
“Hmm.” State Betty as she bites her thumb trying to think about the deal.
“Your family is in danger and gangs will always want more until you have nothing else to give.”
“Fuuucck. Okay fine get rid of some members until my family is safe and I will give you my Actor feat. I am not sure how strong the gang is but usually they carry bats or knives in teams of three.”
“Do they knock people out with one punch?”
“You know you're not supposed to jump at a chance to kill people this willingly.”

“Ugh, also no. Usually like two swings or three punches to drop someone.”
“Great so when do we start?”
“Plan this out first and get some disguises while I try to get you the directions in person.”

“I am not putting my family in danger by underestimating them. So I will text you to go to a train station and lead you to the place in disguise on either Saturday or Sunday if you're available.”
