The cabin was owned by your friend’s grandfather, who used it as his private cabin for his hobbies. Out of curiosity, you listened to his recordings, and he read aloud an interesting chant from the book he found in the ruins of Vale.

All hell broke loose.
The official story?
A specialized grimm capable of control the human body and releasing hallucinogenic vapors to induce frenzy and as a beacon for other grimms. The ‘experts’ explained your instinct and will to live led you to survive and whatever memories or horrors you witnessed on that night was just a vision.
The true story?
The necronomicon is still out there.
You don’t know when the evil will be unleashed or if it ever will, this did not matter. You needed to destroy the necronomicon. You left your home, your school, and for the last two years have searched for the cursed book, encountering unworldly beings, grimms, and demented cultists.
Then one day, a headmaster of a huntsman academy approached you, with the picture of the necronomicon locked up in an unknown location and an offer to attend the academy to be a huntsman, and an aegis of humanity. With your life goal completed with a hollow relief, you chose to attend the academy… Since you missed your application deadline two years ago.
