Greetings, True Believers! And welcome back to Avengers Quest!
This is but one of many realities where the group known as The Avengers is formed... But definitely not the one you might be familiar with. The team's fate, and perhaps the entire world's fate, depend on your collective choices!
<span class="mu-s">This is a quest where you will give commands to a character, but with multiple player characters: You can ONLY select commands for ONE character in your post until the next QM post, which is a new "turn".
Nobody "owns" any of the player characters, anybody can play them until the next "turn", but always only one per post. You can change your decision before the QM post if you change your mind. You can give commands to any of the available characters even if someone else has as long as you remember to choose only one. Ties are simply decided by what I think would be most interesting so try to avoid them.
Make sure to write which character you are choosing for in your post.
There are also collective votes, those will be pointed out as such when they happen.</span>
Last time, the adventure ended on a deathly cliffhanger as THE AVENGERS fiercely fought Arch-villain and sworn enemy of the Black Panther clan, the madman KLAW, to the finish! Foiling his scheme to sell vibranium and destroy Wakanda in the process, yet as his mountain-base collapsed, the newest Black Panther, Shuri, stays behind to battle til the end!
"Your evil ends now Klaw! I will make sure of it!"
"Foolish girl! Even if my legacy dies, so will everything you love! Observe!
Charging one last attack to blow both of them up, it seems tragedy is about to strike as the group of America's heroes exhaustedly run away for their lives, Moon Knight shoots his trusty grappling hook at Klaw, grabbing onto his Sonic Device! "Champion of Bast! Khonshu hasn't sent me here for nothing!" He pulls!
Rocks fall. The earth shakes. CRASH.
And then a silence so dramatic, as our heroes stand just outside of danger, beaten and exhausted, but alive.
Evil does not rest, and while this adventure closes, a new threat is rising far away from the African country... A mind-warping, reality-bending monster who we will soon meet as the dreadful SPACE PHANTOM! But let's not hurry and wrap things up here, first...
