Your mind turns.
Something has been lost, yet some things have been gained.

I meant along the lines of you, the player, answering the "what is this?" question AND the "whose is this?" question AND choosing one question to answer among the RECALL prompts. Three different things to fill out. Your first answer was fine, I am merely asking you to answer the RECALL category question you chose, much like the second voter has.

This is a simple hat, widebrim with a high crown.
You put it on.
It fits you almost perfectly.
Crowned like the true king of the plains.
The SUN, the bright bursting nightmare, abates under the cool custody of its shade.

Lonesome feelings and the melancholia of life have indelibly stained this trinket.
It resonates with you...

Sense impressions of a thousand years of solitude at the edge of the earth.
The bittersweet certainty that even that would coming to an end soon.
No more honest work to be done, no more frontier for the frontiersman.
The cowboy's life was a very brief flashpoint in an already brief history.
His heart was desolate and terribly distant from his fellow man, his mind wandering like a darkling star.
He struck out alone one more time and it was to be his very last.
Then twilight was upon the pale of the desert and he was nothing more than a silhouette (crawling/moving/brooding) across the blank canvas of the earth like the fading letters of a long, long story that had reached its conclusion at last or perhaps one that is yet to begin.

I will roll for the DIFFICULTY of the enemy in this recollection, which is determined by the HOUR of the DAY. Each one of you anons will tell this many defining features about the enemy. For example, on a roll of 4 on the 1d6, one anon can say:
1. The enemy has the shape of a rod.
2. The enemy is the size of a longhouse.
3. Beware the enemy's venomous bite!
4. The enemy is most commonly found guarding mystical amulets of fabulous power in dark and damp dungeons of doom.

Afterwards, I will either roll to randomly choose different traits in sequence or choose the funniest ones to put into one creature, and the total facts will equal the difficulty level. Something like an exquisite corpse, which you will almost certainly will make afterwards.

Oh, this is a S&W TRR8... It's the revolver the SAA would dream of one day becoming... 8 round cylinder chambered in .357 Magnum, pin point grouping, reduced recoil, as reliable as a beer on a hot day... And it has an under-barrel bayonet on its front rail? Raises questions about what kind of cowboy I am... But I'm not asking them right now.

1. He makes no sound at all when he moves, not any sound at all.
2. He is completely invisible to the naked eye, or any mundane means of visual observation - mirrors, cameras, thermal, nothing of the sort.
3. He can only kill using his knife, which is not invisible. To clarify, he can pick up and use whatever tools or objects he likes, but he cannot use anything to take a life. The one exception is His Knife.
4. With an unutterable vastness of singleminded vitriol, my Enemy *HATES* me. He hates me with every fiber of who he is.
5. When he chooses to do so, perhaps while fighting as a distraction and most certainly while stalking his prey, my Enemy loves to whistle - and is preternaturally skilled as a whistler.

The proverbial knife for a gun fight.
