Welcome back for the struggle of our species!
The concept of this questline is simple: on the first phasis, (You) evolved the biology of a Xenos species of 40k, the Under Hunter.
Under Hunter current sheet :
https://pastebin.com/tKCdQ6Vt On the second phasis, a few players played their own Civ builder.
https://pastebin.com/LLBm1mjj Those provide contest but are not mandatory for play. If you want to catch up :
https://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=40k+Minor+Xenos+Quest Now, we are back in <span class="mu-s">The Crack</span>... And we'll play an influent individual!
This quest will be about one particlarly influent individual, and her fate that will shape Hunterkind forever :
Easy difficulty - winners of the Tribe Age
>A BurningGrass military leader and her unification of Hunterkind through military conquest >A Badback editor--in-chief of Peak's High and Crack's Low and the unification of Hunterkind through propaganda >A Cerulean Headmaster, unification of Hunterkind through common education and upbringings Medium difficulty
>A Grassgreen's attempt to unify Hunterkinds by imposing the superior culture as the common ground of the species >A Whitemane's attempt to unify Hunterkind tribes in a great council of tribes Hard difficulty :
>Ghostclaw's Avatar fighting against Globalism >A Jupiter's survivor and her fight in the name of Tzeentch

They tamed the Fourbeaks, historical predator of Hunterkind, and built great fortress of stone and ice>IceyOnes Are extinct. Used to be great singers.>Badback Are capitalistic traders. Proficient archers, decent farmers, they created a great warp trail, tamed cattle, built grasshouses.>CeruleanAndLilac Are vikings-lite near-extinct ice carvers>Whitemane Are riding the moutain mount Lunar Dahu, and expert in breeding beasts.
PridefulWhitemane
>>6361140 >>6361149 As seen during our tribal stage (of which not every exploit, especially those made via emails, has been pastebin-ed) the influence we the players have had on the Under-Hunter culture and technological development - which could be interpreted as warp entities leaking ideas from other civilisations into the dreams of Matriarchs , alongside their own inventions - these funny undying gorilla arm ripping pumas are disjointed and frankly weird in terms of development. We are somewhere between the stone age and the Middle Ages with some of our tech and concepts. But that was, of course, intentional, so that this minor xeno would bear the clear implication of living on an alien warp-saturated world. Now, to conjoin it all.
>My vote is either with the Cerulean Headmaster/mistress or with the Whitemane Council. We must not allow any tech or cultural marvel to be lost or suppressed. Humanity reached its Golden Age through similar methods, focusing on transcribing as much generational knowledge into their descendants, while keeping their unique cultural characteristics.
Even in the darkness of the far future, there are space Huns and space Romans.

Rolled 2 (1d6) >>6361140 I think I am going to do like Bad Back and roll for it. I used and liked Ghostclaw a lot. If I just voted normally i would vote for them probably lol. Also, because their gods have very much become a real thing lmao (for better or worse)
Still, Whitemane (with their very cool Archeons), the Cerulean (with the University), and BurningGrass (the military might and first true empire) could be great options (same for the others, each player put their effort into their people). Eitherway, man i am 100% sure Ghostclaw will be a pain in the ass to convince. Meda'Nsa (Great Speaker) Gaa"Tfa'hre Ghost Claw (She-Friend-Death Ghost Claw) in particular. Then again, we are probably many years ahead and not at the end of the Tribal Age, so she might be dead.

Little refresher (heh) : They live in the far North of the mountains named "Frozen Peaks". Their Cultural Cool Stuff :>Farming Their most defining trait in my opinion They Tamed Dahu, use their feces as manure, know of selective breeding - created the Steed Dahu for mounting and the Shaggy Dahu for wool (and a drop more of MILK), opening an age of FASHION>Nests : Walled-star shape mounted by a smaller, opened star. Built around Stove Grove for heat.>Tribe Council The whole goal of picking those would be propagating that structure to all of Hunterkind.>Military This tribe is one of BATTLE PSYKER. The tribe spelllist is : Ice Shard, Shield, Shape Ice, Frost Mirror (minor illusion), Astral projection, Terraforming The tribe culturally defining weapon is the Hun-Hun, a war Yoyo, and they sport Dahu Plate Armor. Of course, their rise implied conquest of feral, wild hunters known as "Vassals" - doing boring or dangerous work against food and protection. Last, but not least, is the Archeon - the mind of an Under Hunter possessing the mighty body of the Glacier Drifter. Those <span class="mu-s">Perpetuals</span> are as many as 4 for now. And might require eating souls for sustenance. Whitemane tribe also erected Meat Pillars - eldritch constructs of flesh and bones, charting path in matterial and Immaterium alike. Those are first line of defense against warp-base incursions. Will formerly lock later. Can do other recap like that for other tribe if a contender is getting steam.
PridefulWhitemane (sick)
>>6361447 Don’t forget my golemancy. Where I store UH and Dahu souls in tiny ice figures. When the warrior or mount dies, the sculpture comes to life and grows to the size of an adult hunter. My people were rather obsessed with getting multiple chances at life, since we were a relatively small tribe and nomadic, we didn’t want to bleed warriors during the Chaos Incursion.
We also do have a written language. Our normal speaking language is based on other tribe’s but we don’t really have or write texts of any kind, except for those who learned from other tribes at the Academy. What we do know, is colored signal flares, using fireworks. We hurl them with slings and they explode high in the air, alerting nearby Hunters.
PridefulWhitemane (sick)
>>6361451 Since we have ropes and know of weaving, we have the Hun-Hun, the Mop-Afro, the Bandana, the Ribbon-Cape, the Net and the Sling. Before Tribal stage ended, we were trying to invent a variant of the Hun-Hun where the flail-head is made of ice and can be shaped at will.
As only Archeons live long enough to appreciate and understand art, they alone are tasked with coming up with new paints and rope-based accessories and each of the four has a distinct style.

The two Hunter became friends - to the point (you) have been sent to the Badback's agricultural settling of Vierstrassen for an extended period of time. Beharrlich Vierstrassen-Bauer was particularly interrested in the wool of the Shaggy Dahu tended by your family : longer and fluffier than ever seen in this frozen hellworld, the Shaggy Dahu wool retain some of the animal's incredible properties related to extreme temperature. Woven one way, the wool turns in an almost perfect insulator. Woven the other way, it instead hungrily hoard cold or warmth alike, gently redistributing it over time. The mercantile Hunter stroke a deal with your family : against exclusive right for a couple years, she's taking a part of (your) education in hands. Granted, it's not academic-like - not like your childhood friend, Whi Te Mane studying with her brother Lufed Ma Ne at the Cerulean Center of knowledge. However, the Badback's own agricultural prowesses are nothing to scoff at; and you soon discover new plants, animals, and the resulting skewers and steaks - as well as learning the necessary bartering to survive the capitalistic society you found yourself in. >>6362250 Well, considering the fact I’m nomadic… lets go by zones! So, territory that is safe and used to cycle dahu herds and has thus zigguraths year-round, are called The Prides, in the heart of the Prides is where the Tribe-wide Great Council is held, for the big-big decisions. The territory where the vassal packs dwell is monitored so no strays pick a fight with our subjects but it’s otherwise quite untamed and called The Bleeds. The outskirts, as well as places of high warp activity and old battlefields from the Warp Incursion, where many Meat Pylons are erected to stave off daemons are called the Scourgelands. Finally, Archeons are much more powerful psykers than a normal Under-Hunter, especially in cryomancy, so their personal residence, where they collect resources for their public and more niche projects, become hubs for our youthful trendseekers and called Ribbon-Peak, Ribbon-Rainbow, Ribbon-Frost and Ribbon-Bone, based on their aesthetic style they invented. The exact location of the Ribbons does change over the decades, but currently they are located at the four corners of the Prides.

See, I knew my map was out of date. I don’t quite remember why I fought so hard for that territory, but I know its not isolated because Under-Hunters don’t have logistical problems. Considering its historical value, as at least 2 hexes that are part of my territory became that way because of an Archeon awakening, guess for at least this century we’ll say their Ribbons are were they ended up on the final territory map. Ribbon-Rainbow is west, in the Crag, where the moss is. Ribbon-Frost is north, in the frozen wastes that are even more inhospitable. Ribbon-Peak is right in the centre of our territory, near the Prides. And Ribbon-Bone is south, near the Scourgelands and bordering the territory of our longtime ally and cook fiend.

>>6362250 >Naming Convention The names in the Ghostclaw culture all start with what you are: female or male. Then they have something in them about yourself and your reputation in the Holy Realm of the Silent Faith. A part of your name can also be associated with your profession, which also marks your social class. When you are Ghostclaw, after you say your name, you then SAY your Njate-Ake. For example, we can look at two members of the Ghostclaw culture, one dead and one alive :
Gaa"Uyd'Asd Bone Storm (She-Dark-Stone Bone Storm)
The Land Warden of Njate-Ake Bone Storm, she comes from a clan-family with a very strong faith. Her family also enforces the Code of Law. She is a veteran of several holy wars, and while devout as can be expected, she has a grim reputation. Stone and Everstone are symbols of strength, and materials used in Ghostclaw society to create runic weapons, armors, amulets, lasting buildings, etc. Her name is associated with both her and her reputation: a powerful noble in war, and one who ensures the law and faith are upheld and spread.
Goo"Asd'Kakro Ice Boulder (He-Stone-Wound)
The famous Maker (see social classes of Ghost Claw/basically crafters) who directed and personally worked in the full construction of the Celestial Temple of the Aki-Jar. His name is associated with his profession and his extraordinary mastery of working stone, so much so that he was considered directly divinely inspired by Agaar (one of the deities of the Aki-Jar pantheon). The Wound part of his name is because this Underhunter was a workaholic who did not stop himself from working, which led to a steady decline in health, visible to others. He did not die until he was finished with his work. So you can imagine his state....

>Opar - First Home (under Njate Ake Ghost Claw) This is the capital found in the south, from where the Meda'Nsa (Great Speaker) rule. The first true settlement. You can find the Everstone Totem, Gaa"Nhat'çae Code of Law, and her catacomb. It's here, where the legend, myth, and rules of the faith were first proclaimed and made. The Hre"Adi-Jark (Stone of the Silent Faith) itself. And naturally, here is the place of the Celestial Temple of the Aki-Jar.
>Opar - Strange Peak (under Njate Ake Ghost Claw) Found in the south-center of the HRSF, this settlement is used for the extraction of stone alongside grounds for the training of warriors and meditations of shamans. Its somewhat central location has made it even a place of scribes, transforming it slowly into a center of administration and culture. There are sayings that this place is connected to the past of Ghost Claw, but nobody truly knows.
>Opar - Devil Tomb (under Njate Ake Snow Moon) This is the home of Njate Ake Snow Moon, in the north. It is a military center, where locals often praise Agaar and Ior. This was the last place where the carrion devil colossi were killed by the Avatars. Many Makers here have been sponsored by Snow Moon for producing runic weaponry and armors. Such a martial place has the eye of the La'Kaw"Dae (Order-Devil-Killer) for finding worthy recruits.
>Opar - Pillar of Victory (under Njate Ake Snow Moon) Made in the north-center of the realm, this settlement is one inhabited by many hunters and warriors. In this place, many a tribal where subjugated, becoming part of Ghostclaw. It was taken during the glorious Fourth Holy War. Snow Moon is making sure it's made in a symbol of the victories of the realm.
>Opar - Organized Valley (under Njate Ake Ice Boulder) Home of Njate Ake Ice Boulder, in the west. This settlement is exceptionally organized, which Ice Boulder took a very long time to finish. It's a center of writing, poetry, dancing, and martial arts. Culture, Learning, and Faith are its pillars. Praise to Keer and Gavdai can often be heard in this place.
>Opar - Bountiful Place (under Njate Ake Bone Storm) Made in the east, this settlement is entirely one made for agriculture, administration, and the respect of law and traditions. There are many growers around it tending to their Holey Moleys and Fire Ferns. Prayers to Lramd are particularly observed here to ensure a safe harvest.

DrDragonfagQM !2gxW5JDLSc ID:Kq7v0wFt Sun 25 Jan 2026 23:21:11 No. 6362886 Report At the end of your stay, the offspring of the selected Moleys reached adulthood. The behavior is noticeable - and promise itself stronger among the younglings' generation. Of course, Beharrlich is delighted at the results, far exceeding her wildest dream when accepting to act as your tutor, when you expose your findings in the "final internship meeting" - a strange tradition among the mercantile tribe. "<span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">So you weren't just trying to get my son bearing your eggs.</span></span>" You can't help but wiggle uncomfortably, lowering your ear-stalks. After all, said (unsuccesful) attempts of egg-bearing lead you to spend almost all your leisure time in the company of Schön, which happens to be a great cook; learning culinary art as a byproduct. But there's something else in the demeanor of your mentor - a smell of worries. "What troubles you, comrade-of-my-mother? - <span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">Haven't you heard the news? BurningGrass have mustered an army. </span></span> - The monsters from beyond are back? - <span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">We don't know for sure. "<span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">And before you answer... I bought the rights to present a Revival Proposal.</span></span>" This is a hot topic among Badback's Farmers. In the Iced walls of The Crack near the settlement Ganzimnorden, a few Scissor Hunters have been founded encased in Ice. Those massive beasts were a prime source of meat for past Hunters, and it was believed they were all dead. However, Badback's psykers have not been confident enough to bring them back to life out of their Ice Tomb. The Hunters that should make such attempt must showcase their confidence by freezing and unfreezing smaller beings first : crawlers, dahus, moleys. "<span class="mu-r"><span class="mu-s">But first, as we say here, Gute Arbeit verdient guten Lohn.</span></span>" A fair day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. And the pay is, indeed, fair.
