>>11088879What I view “considerably worse” is something that is exceptionally lower quality of a different thing which this isn’t as there’s barely a difference. The only major difference between the spines of the Hiya and SHMA is MA’s center spine being a little more pointy and accurate and that’s barely even noticeable. Same goes with the spines themselves, they’re more accurate in terms of sculpted details on the Hiya while MA is more stylized but again, barely noticeable. Both have the similar paint apps on the spines, both color wise and them showing the new spines growing out from the shedding of the old.
The hand pose isn’t a big deal to me, static pose or dynamic pose, they both work for me but I do not like SHMAs green paint on the claws and it looks off to me. And with the pre-evolved, I’m glad it didn’t get all the paint apps the promos had them as, was way to much dirt like paint on it so I prefer the final release colors they chose.
Really it’s tomato-tamato at this point, just comes down to what I want to pay and I prefer the Hiya as a whole and would rather pay the $50 price point for something that looks exceedingly close to the MA. I know it’s hard to compare the two since they haven’t been released, especially since the resin Hiya prototype has some damage. But personally, as a whole, I think the Hiya is the most accurate all around, and that’s what want.
