What does everyone here use for backdrops? I found myself trying different things, having stuff printed out on A2 Paper can be costly. Using my TV as a background does bring its own set of challenges, for example reflections of the LEDs used to light the scene.

I use a cardboard sewer diorama for the backdrop on most of mine, but I have a bookshelf that is pretty much exclusively for my figures. I know some anons use fish aquarium stuff, like fake rock formations and back drops made for fish tanks.

I got this Muppets kitchen, couple little re-ment room diorama backdrops and some playmobil parts but mostly I just use my wall or a screen. I’d love to have the space for a permanent diorama, though.

The expensive option is buying from diorama makers and tiny accessories. You do have the right idea about the TV but it's better suited for providing a depth-of-field background than being the actual setpiece. Combining it with actual props makes for great photos but that's all on how much you're willing to spend for such set-ups.

just learn to do it yourself anon
Buy a cheap 3D printer, print shit, resize it all you want and paint it, even just a uniform brown red can look great for a table or something

Funny story, I did get into IG for toy and nature photography inspiration. Since the homepage was recommending me the usual trendshit, I tried following a hashtag instead, #toyphotography. The algorithm sent me two kinds, one of toys and the other of indian model wannabes. Weird as fuck.
