One time I paid for two seperate warehouse shipments, with all the small shit as Small Pack and all the big model kits as EMS because it worked out cheaper than shipping it all as EMS, and the EMS one arrived only a few days earlier than the SP parcel. Not even a full week. It was 3 or 4 days.

I was a SAL frequenter and when that slowly died out I moved to Airmail. It was still faster/cheaper than EMS, simply because it didn't take ages to go through customs.
Only times I use anything but Airmail now is when I'm forced to.
