Absolutely annihilates the BotM Daspletosaurus in paint apps. Neck articulation is better, but torso and tail are worse. Her feet are bigger so she's got an easier time standing, but her ankle joints are loose and her tail is so short that she has a tendancy to fall forward. I'll probably have pose her with her hand on the ground even though I hate that

That's a bummer. I got their Tiger Stripe Raptor, the wrist peg of one of its swappable claws snapped off when I tried to articulate it, which was frustrating. I reached out to BBTS hoping to get in touch with Nanmu somehow to get a replacement and they just refunded me entirely.

Aside from that it's a really solid piece. Looking forward to their new T-Rex.

Absolutely disgusting on both accounts, probably hate the proportions more but the teeth are a defining feature of this dinosaur so they're equally fucking back. I love Bary, it's in my top 5 favorite dinos, so I want one but not for that price. I guess I can settle for Irritator. This one cleans up so nicely with a bit of paint.

I'm getting both desu. The Rexy/Doe coloring is so iconic, but the Buck is my favorite-looking of the JP-era Tyrannosaurs as a whole(though I particularly love Rexy's animatronic)

I got Bary just because it was the only therapod available at Target years back. Allo is far better, but if people are forking out many times original MSRP for a loose Baryonyx then maybe I should just sell mine for profit.

Yeah its not quite as prominent as it is on the animatronic (at least going by the angles from the promo images) but it's definitely there, it's a unique sculpt and slightly pronounced compared to the Doe

No, Nanmu has been pretty adimant that they won't make large dinosaurs in 1:18 or 1:12 because they are a small company and there are not enough people willing to spend $250 (or $500 for 1:12) on a single figure to justify the cost of production.

Probably not. It was kind of meh as an antagonist and I prefer my dinosaurs to look like dinosaurs and not just kaiju. It's not even about accuracy, I have no problem with the other hybrid dinos or even the giga which doesn't look anything like a real giga, but there's such a thing as going too far.
