reviews are out for the hybrid figures. they're really cool but I might wait to buy them on clearance just so I dont have to support beast directly. the commercials and a teaser for the animated series are out too. The cartoons seems to be an effort to advertise the hybrids and the swarms minis simueltaneously. Unfortunately beast is front and center in the teaser. It looks pretty underwhelming.

Likewise Goojitzu is on its last legs now. The latest episodes of the webtoon & and the new commercials all baked in a dozen weird gimmicks that dont fit together all that well, in addition to a new wave of fugly redesigns.

The Hybrids look like fun toys, but are a bit more than I'd like to pay. mrbeast aside, this is an idea that could have legs with Moose. I've seen some issues where the waist seems to be too loose, so hopefully that gets dialed in.

These haven't actually been released yet, right? It seems to just be the influencer style toys toytubers who've gotten them.

Whichever furry they hired to design Mr Beast's fursona did a pretty okay job, but everything else about this toyline is just lazy, copycat, cash grab bullshit.

10 bucks a pop isnt too bad. Thats more or less the budget price point for action figures nowadays. I do think they missed a major opportunity by not making the swarms figures compatible withthe hybrid bodies. All it would have taken is a reversal of tne peg and port neck system they chose. As far as their release goes it seems like they're eeking out now. Amazon's already carrying the 5 figure gift set at a bargain price. I assume they waiting to get it all out now just before the holidays kick in. I saw a few smaller youtubers reviewing 'em too fwiw.

honestly I get the logic behind label slapping his likeness onto all this shit but I ultimately juat feel it was unnecessary. moose is a proven company. the only times they've faltered were with licensed IP (tom and jerry, space jam 2, lightyear). The Hybrids figures would have worked just fine on their own.
