Finally got my orders in and figured out a leg design. Unfortunately I found out that Galidor piece looks cool same with the Knight's Kingdom shoulders so I already need to make more orders. Shoulders are easy but the Galidor piece is a few bucks a pop. Also need more silver tubes to connect to the Visorak eyes.
Little robot is my friend's creation.

Definitely something I'll look in to. Really my self imposed limitations (2005 and older parts only, Hockey torso as the base) did probably stop that from being what would eventually happen, but I'm still happy with the end result. Next step is figuring out the other arm and rounding it out with armor and other details.

Actually this guy is more of a Dark Hunter MOC, hence the 2005 and earlier part limitation. Think my next Bionicle MOC is gonna be more Toa sized, might do a rahi soon though, been seeing a few like what the bio-mech dinos on Bota Magna might have been.

Honestly 90% of that build so far is parts from my childhood collection. Just the Visorak bits I've gotten so far were bought. Though I did buy a Galidor lot >>11565037 just tonight, has two of that armor bit I'm putting on the legs (first was also childhood collection) and the Euripides chest armor that I saw in a MOC and wanted to also try and use.

I just got a sealed 2003 Takanuva in the mail yesterday that I ordered a couple weeks ago.

I was happy it arrived without any trouble but I had a heart attack handling the box it was delivered in with dripping wet hair after I got out of the shower.

It's been over a day and I didn't see a single drop of water touch a molecule of that box but my OCD-ridden brain is still screaming into my ear "you ruined it".
The box condition wasn't even all that great in the listing but the uncertainty that I might have gotten it wet bugged me.

Can someone here call me a schizo retard crosswired freak and that my mint Lego set is fine so I can slap myself awake?
People get mail on a rainy day. I shouldn't be this dumb over it but my brain is begging me to panic anyway

This video makes me want to forget every neurotic thought in my obsessive head, open the fucker up, and play with it as intended

Good luck, i have a fair bit of bionicle (as the spray paint guy) but not too much general technic bits, personally I think hypergreeble or super smoothing stuff off is lame which gives me more options for stability and reaching general lego aesthetics, and have a bit of mindstorm stuff for general bricks, is facebook the only good place to scrounge or is there any other stuff? Since my pickup of KKII and bionicle parts at that one lego store was generally a good one. Btw how much did the galidor stuff cost, since for a thing of Euripides its generally gonna be 25 bucks (want it for his massive spear to toy around with in a system centaur mech thingy based off exo force, and due to having no galidor). Also good luck with the dinos, theres a fair few weirder toa styles that may be interesting to build in, but I personally wanna just do something that will lend well to vehicle piloting/be an ok standalone guy, maybe gonna use the spray paint mask, also going through the parts I already have for inspo lol

I've found in my area Lego lots are usually priced a little on the high end and mostly System sets from the last 5 years or so. Occasionally you see some interesting stuff but I have yet to make a Facebook Lego buy. Plus you have to deal with retards that just won't reply to messages when you inevitably try to lowball (as you should always do). My friend has had good luck with Goodwill auctions buying bulk lots for his Bricklink inventory, though when we hunt at thrift shops I always find the Lego stuff. Other day I found a Friends 2021 advent calendar and earlier today I found the PS4/WiiU Dimensions pad. Kind want to make a portal MOC with that but I don't own the game or anything else Dimensions.
Might make a Glatorian rider for one of the dinos. One idea I had was Toa versions of Velika (still evil) and Ahkmou (also still a traitor) so maybe I'll do mounts/vehicles to go with them as well.

I mostly just see crackheads around here, or garage sales with something like jewish books, I once saw for sale one of those Lego Electronics boards from the 90’s at a flea market thats now unfortunately closed, but its mainly picking for scraps now, goodwills I go to never have any lego and some of the places for obscurish bricks like Joanns and Biglots have closed down for good, tougher out in the great lakes area but I make due, Personally I think a rahi with big treads as front legs and smaller stubbyish normal legs as back ones would be a cool design, either that or basing them off freaky prehistoric creatures like that shark with a buzzsaw in its mouth for example, theres some parts I have found interesting like picrel’s fabuland rakes as a weapon too, as a bonus

Front tread rahi like a reverse Muaka & Kane-Ra? Could be neat. I'll have to start gathering more pieces and figure something out. Get inspo from somewhere. Honestly I think my next MOC will be easier because I won't be forcing myself to build around the damn Hockey torso.

Oh wait, there was this quiet place out in the country which had a fair bit of stuff, including super vintage bootlego, though its been a long while since I’ve gone there, they had a pickaxe and some airsoft stuff there too, still I mainly just see at most newer bootlego at these stores, and have had more luck with finding something interesting at dollar generals for lego or bootlego. I've completed my collection as far as I'm concerned. All of G2, most sets from G1 that I care about. Mostly after Technic bits and masks, plus the odd weird parts that I might find useful.
Though I am starting to hunt for some Star Wars CCBS stuff. The exclusivity of parts to individual sets in that line is maddening, because the cloth and armor bits are damn nice to have.

Nothing really super oddball atm, mostly hoarding sand red and sand purple bricks for future MOCs. Though once I get my Galidor lot in I'll probably have more of an idea of what I'm making next.

(Not my photo, a redditors) shit looks super nice (I call Violet Indigo because of one anon) and would work as a great side color, just theres jack and shit in terms of parts matching it, this guy did his via a 3d printer which was lucky enough to match but otherwise you are out of luck, also he made a sand purple one. Personally a color I would look for for 3d printed stuff would be the duplo Dark Yellow (Curry as they call it), it just looks nice but has no real answer

That color is one of many ones that look nice, though yeah it looks like flame yellow, light yellow is one but even though it was around for a long time there was jack shit for it in bionicle parts. I should just figure out what the toa drivers should be before giving myself a headache with details like color schemes
