I got the full set plus an extra Penguin through amazon, then another set ordered through BBTS.
I expect the amazon orders to get cancelled.
My buddy at work really wants the Penguin and I'm in it for Catwoman and Batman so whatever happens I'm pretty confident in my orders.
BBTS hasn't disappointed me yet.

Honestly, im passing this wave. I do want a keaton, like really i do, but ive got scarecrow, my lovely batgirl and dr midnite so ive paid my todd tithes for the month.

Some weird decisions. They made new legs but the boots and belt are wrong, why not go all the way since the arms, chest, head and cape are all new? Also the head seems too small and the eyes too close to each other. Still, seems like a fun figure and I'm mostly pleased. Shame I'll probably not be able to buy one since I don't live in the US so this will cost me an arm and a leg.

I'm not Jared. I'm the guy with the Mafex collection. I only have a handful of Todd figs because I've never really been a huge fan of the house style in the figs. I'm just being realistic in that the Mattel stuff will probably be equally as disappointing as Toddslop.

My impression is Mattel's average figure is within a smaller range, no extreme lows but no extreme highs either. Todd is all over the place. He might make a figure that looks great and then the next 5 look like absolute garbage. So in a way I kind of like that hit or miss aspect since you can just buy the good stuff and ignore the crap.

You never collected Mattel stuff then. Back when they were doing DC stuff, it was nothing but extreme lows. There weren't extreme highs either. Unless they've changed in the six years of so since they lost the DC license, which I doubt.

I don't collect IPs Mattel produces really. Last thing I got from them was their Ray Arnold figure from the JP Amber Collection. It was alright but still had worse plastic, paint and engineering than your stemsdard Hasbro figure at the time. If they've changed that's great, but I just don't have much experience with what they've done lately.

Some MOTU Masterverse reviews can give you an idea of what they can do at their best. Probably still technically below MLs or Classified but not as bad as their old DC stuff for sure. Their wrestling stuff looks horrific to me so some teams within Mattel still are producing lower quality stuff. In a way it kind of depends on the people within Mattel assigned to DC
