The last robot damashii thread has died a couple days ago and no new one has been made. MRD Lupus Rex is getting a retail re-release (april 2026), pre orders sold out insanely fast. I'm assuming it has better tolerances than its first run. MRD Marchosias was teased too.

Thanks. It’s a struggle. I would love to keep them, but without space to display them all, I see no point in it. Plus the extra money would be nice.

Just hoping they sell at this point. I like to think I’m not asking for too much. I cross-referenced Mandarake and eBay prices while deciding on my price points before posting.

Will probably give it a couple weeks with the listings up in the BST before posting them on eBay as well.

Seeing as it seems to be bootlego if I had to hazard a guess it's a copy of someone's EVA MOC now being sold. I've heard that sprt of thing happens from time to time- if someone, say, publicly shares files or instructions for something the built with Lego, or maybe something for 3Dprinting, etc. then chinese guys might swoop in to sell it as a bootleg.

I ordered it just now because i love the twin shoulder cannons.
I know moshow quality is good (fuck c clip wrists) so i'll order with mostly confidence but you never know if theres a problem child in the line.

probably taking to me? out of the 5 different bigass progenitor class figures, the Wu Chenghou probably has the most utilitarian and orthodox look and feel, I mean, it looks like something you'd see in a SRW game, it reminds me of the VangRay actually:

Dunno unless youre the same guy talking to me about lancelot leaking plasticrizer.
I want Duke since his loadout is sick but the color just aint it for me unless they do a recolor like they did for Wu.

Thats actually 90% of the reason why I finally caved and got it. I love how a dual set of weapons are strapped all over his body (cannons, knives, shoulder bs, swords), Only thing that I wish he has are a second pair of guns he he can dakka everywhere. The new color scheme was the final push I needed to go "yeah dats it mang"

as for these figures, it seems the enxt progenitor class will be their green "not" heavyarms that comes wiht like 4 gatling guns

They're pretty cool. Most of the die-cast is in the joints and feet.

I own the VF-1S and VF-4G. I've been considering getting the fire Valkyrie, but I wanna wait because I feel like they'll do Isamu's YF-19 in that scale. I also hope they do a YF-21/VF-22 soon.

Different anon who owns a few bandai 1/100 and 1/144 but only when you play with it a ton. The tolerance in metal figures arent early days bad anymore and can withstand some form of fucking around for a while.

I know the people around here aren't really into the Gundam Universe line, but I've always liked them as nice, cheap figures I can pick up at Walmart while getting groceries.
The renewal ones have finally started hitting the stores around here and I got the Unicorn first.
The suits in the line were already kind of stylized, but they seem to have gone all in on it now.

The new ones an improvement in basically every way, but there's a couple little things the first one had that it doesn't, all related to the beam sabers:
The mounts on the backpack no longer swivel
The blades can't connect to the forearms anymore
The blade can't attach to the magnum anymore to simulate a shot, which is weird because it's kind of been a line wide thing to do that.

The accessories are alot better, too
The magnum and shield are new molds, and it finally includes the beam bazooka.
There's a nice selection of alternate hands, which been missing from line especially lately.
