I love how every “leak” has the same 4 percent Gaussian blur so the low quality lets you know it’s a super secret image and not something pre-approved by corporate.
Lego pretends we haven’t all had decent cameras on our phones for a while now.

I will forever love this theme for doing small affordable sets. If you want an end/nether portal you can just get it standalone like this instead of buying a whole fortress. Also the new fox mold is in the majority of new sets, including the $10 one. If it were Slop Wars they would have put it in the $300 set and then never put it anywhere else.

no, you won't. the massive price increases of "lego investment" are a thing of the past and you won't even be thinking about that set 20 years down the line because by then there will be 2 more versions of the same thing since that's all lego does anymore is appeal to nostalgia.

Cuuuuuuute!
I was hoping they'd do the fox after the pig and creeper. Seems like a bit of a missed opportunity not to give it anything to hold in its mouth, or at least something to feed it. Legs are also a little goofy but it's expected at least the trade off is good articulation.
It's been a while since I've bought a set day 1 but this might just do it for me.

Right now the sets I'm interested in are the Blacktron Renegade and the expensive new snowspeeder with flames on it. Coincidentally both feature a smaller vehicle that connects to the larger one, something I'd like to see LEGO do more of. I only hesitate because the first ship is huge and expensive and the second ship has a lot of stickers and is also expensive.

you can always tell the difference been a "leak" and a leak because one includes an image that's just blurry enough to seem like it isn't taken straight from a corporate PR bible and is only ever alluded to in discussions about "handling leakers" in general at completely irrelevant times, while actual leaks are usually just text based listings and if any images/videos are actually posted they get swiftly C&D'd out of existence and are immediately met with a post on social media about how the company does not tolerate people exposing confidential information etc.

this isn't a lego thing btw you can apply this logic to any medium

the "leeeaks" (wink wink) have evolved slightly
there have been a couple recently, instead of being patronizingly blurry, they are far-away views of pieces on a desk

(I didn't save the original image for this one, I crop'd it. there was a full window above this with maybe a coffee cup on the desk or something I don't remember...)

they also look "professional" in obvious ways, but I appreciate that Lego recognizes the blurry pics are no longer valid
