They were already budgeting out sound effects way before that. When they did the Universe redecos of Vector Prime and Leobreaker, they had their electronics gutted. Which is especially sad for Leobreaker who gave up everything for every shitty gimmick he had.

Seems logical. If the Minibots were a way to conserve higher piece count for other deluxe's, the Throttlebots could be the same.

Makes me wonder if the Omnibots have been talked about. Soon enough they'll be the only characters left from the entire TV show era.

Hell, he even indicates SS86 Bee was made with a few Throttlebots in mind. Chase, Freeway, and Searchlight could be done out of that mold with the slightest of tweaks.

I think the question is would the four pack Goldbug count as his release, or would the SS86 Bee be reused as Goldbug too.

You might be mentally ill if you dont think the fandom loves combiners. Theyre literally my favorite thing about Transformers. I had every CW combiner that appears in the show except the Seacons which I also wanted but never got my hands on them. I have every combiner piece since Legacy and I do want them all. I want a new Defensor and Computron badly, Abominus and Seacons a close second. The only combiner I personally dont care much about is Predaking

2+ combiners per year is wasteful and would eat many slots of better transformers.
Because current combiners are not "Deluxes retools" like during previous era.
Try to understand how it forks first.

1 per year is just fine.

Instead of all the limbs being retools, now all the torsos are the retools. I was just thinking how releasing Bruticus, and then Defensor it will be like them releasing the same figure twice in a row. I dont care I wish we were getting AT LEAST two a year.
