How? The first Lego BTTF Delorean came out in 2013 and Mattel only brought Mega in 2014, it was never possible for them to beat Lego to the punch.

No. Literally no one cares about GI Joe or MotU even with that new movie coming, even less because Jared Leto is starring in it. Halo and Gears are only popular with spics so it will be a tiny niche market unless GoW E Day is a massive hit. Resident Evil maybe, but it's still a fairly niche horror franchise.

Maybe GTA VI but honestly for generic city sets Lego is still just going to overshadow Mega, I mean Mattel, especially because Lego has decades of city shit.

They may carve their own niche back into the market though since their minifigs are god tier and people are getting sick of Lego's bs, lots of people are going with chink brink companies and shilling for them for free.

Because those chink brick companies make recognizable IP like ultraman, power rangers, transformers which are alread toy centric and appeal to children. the ips you listed are video games intended for adults and those fans are not toy buyers, they want to buy into a life style and play those games as a wish fulfillment/escapist fantasy not to play around with toys
