>>11658041Hey NorCal/R Anon, glad you are happy. You were interesting to shop for and fun to do some of the research. I appreciate Santa Man reaching out to you and getting your say so that possible duplicates were okay, so I tried to get things, that even if you had the same hobby model kit type item, you would be able to get use out.
When I saw the accessory packs, I felt those would be a good deal. I know I like having things like extra weapons, spare heads and props, so those were an easy purchase.
But I still wanted to get actual TOY toys/figure that you could put together but there were so many interesting options, it was just a matter of what I wanted to spend and picking accordingly.
I also like getting small little 'stocking stuffers' and had a budget for that, and while asking on other boards for advise, someone suggested getting you two of the same Lego, so you could actually make one of those insectoids more of one color, versus the 'standard' build - and I had seen that a lot of the franchise you suggested had insect like soldiers not just humanoid soldiers, that I felt those two 3-in-1 would be a good substitute for the key-chain, tiny plush, playing card, tiny vinyl I might have spent money on.
I spent an entire afternoon trying to figure out how to pack that Mythic Legion accessory pack so you could unwrap it, and finally some girl at the one LCS (Local Comic Shop) that's still open near me, overhearing me chat the clerk, suggested a box for vinyl records, and there you are!
Anyhow, happy you are happy.
Hopefully, you can assemble either that 52Toys Beast Box or the Hexa Gear Jester to post on next year's thread as I am curious what they look like, other than tiny!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE HERE AND WHO STOPS BY FROM /TOY/!
And many, many thanks to Santa Man for all his hard work this winter and past years.
