I walked into my local Target yesterday and they had all the Haulathon stuff set out. Must have just put it out, because there was lots of each figure. 4 of everything except Tiger Claw, who had about 8 on the shelf. Snagged Pee Wee and Super Grover. Grover is perfection.

Why would it match the box art? That's not what they're doing with the figure. And for that matter, there's nothing wrong with the eyes.

We already discussed in the previous thread that the figure is inaccurate to the actual puppet. Seeing the box being more correct just makes it even weirder that they got it wrong.

Palisade's has a more accurate face, though I do adore the NECA Grover having a moving mouth.I may make a mold of Palisades and customize a NECA, frankenstein it up.

A bit, but pupil/eye placement has been a curse with muppet figures since the 80s. Either too crosseyed, not crosseyed enough, walleyed, or the pupil gets painted on like a smudge job. I have an Usher Scooter who's left pupil is just a black blurr.
