According to this random review the real torso assemblies do actually have hands attached
he even calls taking the hands out an illegal technique, so that might be the answer. This guy seems knowledgeable about those sorts of things

Its been on sale for $140-$150 for months. You can still get it off Amazon and Walmart for that much. I got it a couple months ago, and I thought it was good for that. Don't think I'd pay nearly $200 for it, though. The meme-tier minifigures were part of the draw, though.

I did a quick count on Bricklink and including Advent Calendar tiny-builds, and things like the Thanksgiving Interior scene and this comicon exclusive (pic related) I got 32 Millennium Falcons

the first time Lego makes a ship, it's like "whoa! the OFFICIAL Lego version!" which means YOUR version (MOC) now sucks, because it's not the official one. but each time Lego re-makes a ship, you start to realize... maybe it's okay if you do it on your own. Lego keeper re-do-ing it. why can't I?

This era of lego is my favorite, or a little bit after with boats, police, and cool baseplates. For making playsets/buildings the fundamental parts and basic colors are the way to go.

Which is surprising when you consider how successful the Lego Batman movie and Lego ninjago were… oh wait no they shit the bed.

I thought it was a fine movie, its just that after the magic of the first one, it couldn't really totally be re-captured, but it seemed like it was trying to be a different thing, which was fine.

I feel like I am in the minority on this one, but I also thought all of the sets from the first movie were way, way better than most of the ones from the second movie. First movie seemed like it was a celebration of all things and all eras of Lego, which was reflected in the sets (a huge great Pirate ship, a really nice vintage-inspired space ship, even a smaller castle set, and lots of neat city-themed sets). There were some really good sets from the second movie too, but many of them seemed more based on the goofier stuff from the second movie.

the first The Lego Movie was a masterpiece of storytelling, it was going to be impossible to do that again, due to the twist reveal that's it's not really about the Legos, it was the kid and his dad and how they "played" with them. to be fair, the 2nd one gave it a good shot, with how the brother played with the sister (it's a very little-girl-thing to want to marry characters to create peace, for example) and I also thought it was... meh, alright.

the "true" sequel (in-spirit) is the Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. which does have the same thing The Lego Movie had, where you think it's about one thing, but it's really about something totally different (in a good way)

I'm a zoomer myself, born in 99, and think the prequels are shit. They're an amusing watch every once in awhile, saw episode III when it was theatres again, but I can't imagine paying serious money for anything prequel trilogy. As a kid I fell for the building a clone army meme and wasted too much money on boring grey ships and battle packs, nowadays I have nothing SW and only collect lego up to 03. Might pick up the new Bob if I ever see him at a convention though, always liked him as a meme character.

id really love to see a capital droid ship from the seperatist, from episode 1 or the clone wars, alongside atleast a hyena bomber or b1 fighter droid at least, maybe add glub shitto and his jedi fighter vs hyena bomber to bring him into a set
