>>8032068It was a flash in the pan franchise in the 70s. Partly due to the success of Star Wars and the sci-fi boom of the late 70s in general. But it's been so non-existent for the last forty years, removing any kind of recognizable features from it seems like a death sentence. That's why I was opposed to the Armstrong show aswell. Hasbro wants all this power, and by god they have the potential to harness It, but they want to go about it the laziest ways possible.
>Oh we bought Stretch Armstrong? Screw It, just make him Spiderman.>Oh we bought Micronauts? Just make it appealing to zoomers! That's why the only acquisition they've made in recent years that has worked is power rangers. Power Rangers, like Sonic and Transformers is a massive pool of autistic super-fans who will eat up anything you give them. Unlike Power Rangers however, Micronauts, ROM, and all the other shit they're chucking at the wall is innately niche and small potatoes by comparison.
