There is a lot I dislike about Storm, from their roided out sculpts to their size to their pricepoint, but if they started a Rival Schools line I would immediately sell large chunks of my current collection to pay for it.

Big Bad Toy Store. And yeah, as a kid I was massively into action figures but I became disillusioned with them. Highly articulated figures would fall apart easily and low articulation figures weren't fun to pose and take pictures of.

I have had within a week shipping the moment they sent me the shipping label creation notification. Some other anons here will argue BBTS is horrible so as far as I know YMMV. I have order from them three times and it has been consistent shipping time

I had high expectations after getting their Kyo last year around this time but good fucking christ Iori is outstanding. There is no reason that he should be able to do his near HK but they managed to not only make his legs poseable enough but worked his knee belts into being a variable length to make it happen.

Storm really feels like they're on the absolute top right now compared to every other company save maybe Mafex fighting them for that spot.

Their quality is outstanding but I still have a problem with their sculpts. I don't know why they make everyone so hilariously buff, even characters that are supposed to be on the slimmer side. And the faces sometimes leave something to be desired. Iori's face there just makes me wanna laugh, his chin looks overlong and he looks like he's doing a cheeky little underbite grin.

I'll gladly swallow my complaints if they ever give us an Orochi Iori though. That would be a years-long dream come true.

For me it's perfect cause it just looks like early 90s Shinkiro artwork, and for a line that's just KOF98 and nothing else, that works for me. Really regretting not picking up Terry and Rugal at this point. Much as I'd like something styled after CvS2 era artwork, that shit ain't gonna happen.

I don't know about that. I love Mafex figures but I still feel more comfortable handling my DBZ SHFs over my comic Mafex ones. Just feels a lot more solid.

Got my first Storm figure from that Bluefin sale. It's cool, but I feel like it's worth...not much more than I paid ($45 or whatever). I think I would likely feel a bit disappointed if I'd paid the full $75 MSRP for this, and I definitely wouldn't want to continue buying the line.

I guess it's not that surprising when even barebones Figmas are clocking in at like $60 nowadays. Doesn't really make it feel a lot better in my head though, I mean, I pretty much stopped buying Figmas for the same reason.

I kind of agree. I love my Sektor and Noob figures, but they feel a little overpriced by $10. I can see figures of the bigger characters (Shao Kahn, Darkseid, Bane, Sagat etc.) feeling more worth it though since they're barely that much more expensive than the regular-sized ones while having a lot of heft to them.
