Double pinless joint on even kids toys and realistic face printing is becoming more standard. Even for cartoon figures, face printing is starting to be the way to go. I think faceplates and switchable hair will start to become standard in western retail figures. Action figures are pretty much hitting there limit in articulation. They add anymore and they'd be locked in collectibles only and out of reach for younger kids which is actually the larger market.
