Made good progress with the Cat over the weekend, got all the base camo laid down. There's still a shitton of painting left before I can start laying down a glosscoat for decaling though, with the red for underneath all the mechanization like airbrakes, flaps and slats, the unpainted carbon fiber engine covers, and all the weapons. Plus all the irl touch-ups Tomcats had.
I left the wings movable for making work easier ( this huge fucker barely fits my tiny bench), but it's going to be fully forward (though it looks really cool at full sweep), so I can display it with flaps and slats fully down. Also open radome, canopy, cannon bay and refuel probe, and airbrake extended. Shame the spoilers are molded into the wing, and the arresting hook can only be built stowed.
