Have a friend who gives no fuck and sends heads out to bumfuck nowhere if it means to get the work from a certain artist.
She hasn't lost anything so far but I still think it's crazy, on the other hand she has dolls painted from like three dozen artists around the globe...if not more.
She also doesn't care about the price (I think the highest she paid so far were nearly 300$ for a single face-up from a chinese artist) or time needed and has a reputation for being a good customer, which means she even gets slots from artists who have long stopped painting for people.
Can't compare that to someone who barely wants to ship to the next city and wants something for 30$ in the matter of a week.
I feel that though, I already grind my teeth whenever I have to buy something from Russia and I'm in Europe and not even sending something there.
