>>11107221Primer is a kind of paint, it is typically white, gray or black (although other colors also exist), flat or semi-flat. If that's the color and the finish you want, a primer is just as good as a "regular" paint.
For example, I use MrSurfacer as a semi-gloss black paint for all my guns.
