The fact of the matter is that the late 70's to late 90's had the "happy innocent" face most collectors here nostalgia over. The 2000's swung hard into "sugar daddy's bitch" face. 2015 swung back to "sweet" faces, but that's also when shit like fashionistas and the general decline of the line began to start for modern barbie.
So yeah, 80's~90's was peak Babs in terms of general quality.
